GRANTS

FEDERAL SUPPLEMENTAL OPPORTUNITY GRANT
The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Priority is given to students with exceptional need as demonstrated by the lowest SAI accompanied by Pell Grant eligibility.                                                                                                                                                                           
Texas Equalization Grant (TEG)                                                                                    
The TEG grant is awarded to students who are Texas residents and who have financial need. Grant recipients must be enrolled in at least 9 credit hours or more.                       
Funding for this program is limited.                                                                                                                                                         

PELL GRANT              
Pell grants are awarded to students who display exceptional financial need as determined by the FAFSA. The amount awarded depends upon the number of credit hours in which a student is enrolled. Students cannot utilize the Pell grant beyond 12 semesters of enrollment or after having obtained a bachelor’s               degree.
