The Mission
The New Horizons Campaign was created as a safeguard to a sustainable future for the school. It is a six-year, comprehensive fundraising strategy to generate $7M on behalf of Southwestern Christian College by December 2025. In a joint effort by the Board of Trustees, Administration, Alumni, and Supporters, the campaign is endorsed as an opportunity for individuals to further capitalize this 70-year old Christian institution.
The Need
The campaign rises out of a need to make a concerted effort to raise ample funds to more effectively support Southwestern Christian College’s stated mission/purpose. The Campaign will ...
Provide funds that will serve as a catalyst to advance sustainability and increase staff remunerations
Provide the backing needed to update facilities
Provide a means to increase its annual enrollment by extending an increased student experience
Provide a way to introduce expanded courses and programs, degree offerings, and extended services to diverse populations
The Strategy
The initial years were pivotal years for the New Horizons Campaign. It was time used to lay the ground work, in addition to identifying charter campaign donors. Then, the Pandemic hit and restructured our lives. Yet, the focus remained steady on a need to replenish the endowment and address infrastructure development.

In addition to Infrastructure, during the next years of the campaign, the following items will be addressed:
$1,000,000 for increased Faculty and Staff Health Benefits
$1,000,000 for Student Support Services
$1,000,000 for additional Facility Renovations
$1,000,000 for SWCC Endowment
$1,000,000 for Technology Upgrades
