The SWCC Fire
written by Jack Evans,
President In an horrific fire in the
pre-dawn hours of January 27, 2008, the administration
building and an adjacent building at Southwestern
Christian College of Terrell, Texas, was destroyed.
Thankfully, there were no injuries. Please know that two
of the seventeen campus buildings were destroyed, but
the college is still very much intact, because the
essence of Southwestern Christian College is people
dedicated to an eternal cause. And no fire or any other
catastrophe can destroy that essence. The real
Southwestern Christian College operates in physical
buildings, and physical buildings can be rebuilt, which
is precisely what SwCC plans to do in this instance. [click

From the Office of Academic Affairs
To Whom It May Concern:
Regrettably the recent fire and destruction of the
Jack Evans Administration Building has severely impacted
the operation of the Office of Academic Affairs. The
student records have been recovered and we are currently
having these records professionally restored. We
expect to be able to produce official transcripts and
verify enrollment by May 1st.
We appreciate your patience.
Sincerely,
ZoaAnn Turner
Vice President for Academic Affairs
