Hugh Graham (1922-1980), affectionately known to his students as
"Brother Graham", was a pioneer music educator among
African-American students. During three decades, he
composed and arranged outstanding choral music that
challenged his students and thrilled audiences the world
over.
The A. Hugh Graham Memorial Endowment has been
created by Southwestern Christian College to honor the
memory of this great man. The endowment will ensure that
Graham’s vision of musical excellence and equal
education for all will continue at Southwestern
Christian College for years to come. All contributions
are fully tax-deductible.
