Hogan-Steward Learning Center
The Doris-Johnson Library, named for the Southwestern
Christian College head librarian, is located in the
Hogan-Steward Learning Center constructed in 1974. All
library materials are on open shelves, arranged
according to the Dewey Decimal system. Books are
selected to meet the particular need of college
students. Current periodicals, newspapers, and other
research materials are provided in the library.
Included in the commodious structure are several
classrooms, librarians' and instructors' offices,
learning mall, periodical reading room, conference room,
and computer labs. It is named for the late R.N. Hogan
and G.E. Steward, former gospel preachers and Board of
Trustee Members.
